Do you think the figure of the doula is necessary before, during and after childbirth? the question of the week

These days we are going around the theme of the doulas because we think it is a very interesting topic, not only because of the war started, but because it highlights something that many of us had not taken into account: the possible need for accompaniment throughout the delivery. For a long time, women were accompanied by women who were there for whatever it took. When moving deliveries to hospitals, it is usual for women to be alone most of the time, accompanied by the couple, normally.

To replace this absence, to give support to the mothers again, the figure of the doula emerged in Spain, but It is not a recognized profession, there is no official degree and therefore they are trying to eliminate them.

At a time when women have more information than in the past, is continuous accompaniment necessary? Or is it necessary and since there are no midwives available, is the figure of the doula useful in that regard? This week, to give us your opinion about the role of the doulas we ask you:

Do you think the figure of the doula is necessary before, during and after childbirth?

Last week we asked you: What do your children disguise? to see what you told us about it.

Iskandervv told us the following:

My son this year has disguised himself as a Mexican, and that is because of the bad weather he is doing these days with putting the cape over the coat and the hat hung enough, yes, with a painted mustache, hehehe ...

And lita_nyan also replied saying:

There I am making the costume to my dwarf who on Friday disguises himself in school. This year it's time to go lion (he's crazy about all the animals).

Now the new question for this week is now available and remember that you have a week to answer it Please do so in the "Answers" section and not responding to this entry. I know that I repeat myself, but if you answer here we can not take them into account for next week.
