Aragón publishes the first guide on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

We have talked several times about this disorder so difficult to diagnose. To what extent our child is just a moving child or has some kind of problem.

For this, the Department of Health and Consumption of the Government of Aragon has prepared a guide on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), which has a worldwide incidence between 5 and 7% in the child and youth population.

A group of experts has got to work to bring parents and educators closer to everything related to this disease of biological origin that may be affecting many children whose parents do not know it, since it is very common to confuse the symptoms of the disorder with the normal behaviors of any child.

Difficulties to concentrate on a task or study, not being able to remain still, not controlling reactions and abrupt variations in moods can be an alert for parents.

As explained by the Minister of Health and Consumption of the Government of Aragon, Luisa María Noeno "an issue that worries parents and educators very much and that not correcting it in time can represent a problem already in being an adult," he said, since "it implies important alterations in the family and social coexistence of children which can condition their future development".

We see in this type of initiatives an excellent help for parents, since as experts emphasize, when the problem is detected before, it can be solved before without major consequences.
