Results of the survey for pregnant women, 'do you practice exercise?'

Days ago we launched a survey aimed at our pregnant readers asking them if they practiced some type of exercise and how often.

We already have the results, which are not entirely positive.

Of all the pregnant women who participated in our survey, 40% confess that they do not practice any exercise.

The funny thing is that in second position, with 27%, are women who practice exercise 3 or more times a week.

They are followed by 14% pregnant women who exercise twice a week.

Almost the same percentage, 13%, practice exercise from time to time, but without any routine.

While last, with 6%, there are those who exercise only once a week.

It is possible that due to the busy life of today we do not make room for physical activity. But really, the benefits are worth the effort. We want to take this opportunity to remind you of the enormous advantages of practicing exercise for both the pregnant and the baby.

It is not necessary to sign up for a marathon or become obsessed with exercise. With the moderate practice of exercise three times a week for at least 30 minutes we will be favoring the development of the baby. Physical activity improves the heart rate as well as the cardiovascular function and respiratory system of the child.

Not to mention the benefits to the mother. Prepares the body for the labor effort, provides flexibility and improves fitness. For its part, it helps relieve the discomforts of pregnancy because it improves circulation, relaxes the muscles, combats insomnia and reduces stress.

I know that sometimes he is lazy. But the lack of desire should be overcome by how good you feel after exercising. Therefore, if you are pregnant, make a dent in your exercise routine. Your body, your mind and your baby will thank you.
