A mother forces her 5-year-old daughter to shave her eyebrows

How long is the childhood of children? For some parents very little, in view of the news that I bring today and the video that you can see at the end, in which a mother forces her 5 year old daughter to shave her eyebrows.

The reason for such atrocity is the participation of the girl in a beauty contest (with 5 years!). Is about Toddlers and Tiaras, a reality show American (of course) that exists since 2009 in which girls compete posing and parading, not as girls, but as small adults, since they make up to satiety, comb and dye them in long hairdressing sessions, they put nails on false teeth, cover in the teeth and spend hours and hours rehearsing to compete.

Well, in the video you can now see a 5-year-old girl appears sitting in what looks like a beauty center with her mother, willing (well, not so much), to shave her eyebrows in exchange for a succulent bag of candies.

As we see in the video, the girl receives more or less calm the application of the hot wax (everything is for the little bag that they have put in front of her), however the opinion of the girl changes radically when the woman plucks the wax from her skin.

The mother acknowledges that the girl has previously had negative experiences in this regard, since the first time his eyebrows were shaved off, they removed some skin.

The praise of superficiality

What can a 5-year-old girl learn from an experience like the aforementioned contest? Well, it doesn't matter who you are, because there will always be someone who knows what is best for you, even making you suffer (the mother, who doesn't care if the girl suffers) and that what matters is what you are and what you project , by giving value in a beauty contest for children to superficiality and image.

What a shame that there are girls who miss their childhood and stop being girls because they become what their parents expect them to be: empty objects.

I leave you with the video (click on the red speech bubble to remove the letters that appear overprinted):
