When a woman talks to another about her birth she always explains, among all the details, how long the delivery lasted. Some say it was several hours and some may even explain that it happened more than one day, but surely none can say, as Joanna Krzysztonek, that he was 75 days old.
That said it seems crazy, a savage or directly a joke, but the truth is that it really was not 75 days with contractions, although in absolute rest and in a rather uncomfortable position.
This woman was pregnant with triplets when suddenly, after five months of gestation, she went into labor. At that moment she gave birth to one of her babies, which unfortunately did not progress properly and died.
At that time the professionals tried to stop the contractions and prevent the other two babies from being born and they succeeded. They stopped the delivery and told the mother that she should remain practically upside down to prevent babies from being born.
Two and a half months later, that is, 75 days later, she gave birth to her daughter Iga and her son Ignacy at a clinic in Wrocław, in Poland. The mother explained that being lying in an awkward position for so many weeks had not bothered her:
I sighed with relief that there was a chance of maintaining pregnancy and giving babies a chance to be born successfully.
Those responsible for the feat, in addition to the mother, are the doctors of the clinic, who declared that since the mother had gone into labor at five months of gestation, it was time to declare that the birth had begun. At the end of two and a half months later, they are not shaken by saying the mother was 75 days old.
The twins who were born were able to do so with better conditions, reaching the world after 32 weeks of gestation in the middle of last month. Now babies are still in the incubator waiting for, shortly, it is said, they finally go home.
Bad news, that of the loss of the first baby, without a doubt, which was accompanied by good news to stop the birth. Two and a half months without moving should hardly be horrible, but surely that mother did it with the greatest dedication in the hope that her two babies would be born safe and sound.
