BlankPaper School conducts a photography workshop for the little ones

We really liked the initiative of BlankPaper School that consists of carrying out a new pedagogical adventure that bets on the youngest group using the power of photography as a tool for personal and artistic expression and also facilitator of creativity. In BlankPaper they believe that the educational capacity, personal fulfillment, socialization that allows the use of the image and the tremendous playful potential.

So be Saturday, November 24, 2012, between 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM a free pilot workshop will be held at BlankPaper School for children between 8 and 12 years old. The workshop is for a maximum of 12 people and has a registration order until the places are filled. We don't know the success of the proposal and I imagine it has to be important.

From Blankpaper they inform us that they are working on offering a training that goes beyond the teaching of photographic technique to develop aspects that connect and complement their formal education. They also explain that before the end of the year, they will launch two workshops aimed at two age groups (8-12 years and 13-16 years) in which it will be sought to foster in children and young people, from their innate creativity and through play, the desire and curiosity to look and observe the world through photography.

The course will be taught by those responsible for training: José Deconde, educator and photographic coach and Debla Carbonell, trainer and photography expert. Classes are in Madrid.

In this pilot workshop the participants "will be photographers" from the beginning. They will explore the possibilities of light, there will be costumes and representations, gymkanas and photo viewing. The general program of the pilot workshop includes the following activities:

  • Presentation game
  • Gymkana photographic: discovering the framing and types of plane
  • Light games and costumes
  • Viewing your own photos
  • Gift photo

What do not you forget carry a digital camera or the mobile itself, and with flash! There is much more information on how the workshop will take place on its website.

BlankPaper was born in 2003 to serve as a platform and means of dissemination to the work of seven photographers. It's a place where new projects and ideas germinate. I wish you many successes and I hope that this initiative to work with the children is very satisfactory and is repeated many times.
