Do not hurry, the baby will be born when ready to be born

Nobody likes to be rushed, much less for something as important as being born. If everything goes well and it is a healthy pregnancy, the birth will be triggered nothing more and nothing less than when both mother and baby are prepared to happen.

Waiting for labor to begin on its own is a right that all mothers and their babies should have. So don't hurry, the baby will be born when he is ready to be born.

As of week 37, a pregnancy is considered to have come to an end, but a baby born in week 41 is also a full-term baby, no less than four weeks apart, in which the baby gains a lot of weight and finish developing the lungs and other essential organs.

These last weeks can be decisive for the health and development of the baby. There are studies that show that there is a greater risk in children born in week 37 than in week 40 and that even being born just two weeks before can affect the development of children.

Childbirth is a physiological process that must be triggered naturally when complex hormonal mechanisms start up in women. When childbirth is induced by drugs to stimulate uterine contractions, or when an elective C-section is performed, these natural mechanisms, important for the mother and the baby, are altered.

That is why it is recommended to wait for labor to begin on its own, respect the natural rhythms, without hurrying the baby that will be born when ready to be born.
