The question is, of course, if Darling's hypothesis is true, that the only taste of breast milk will be enough to calm children. It's clear (or I think it's clear) that children who breastfeed don't calm down because of how milk tastes, but by the act of breastfeeding. The child comes to mom, hugs her, she hugs him, takes her chest, smells him, feels the warmth of his arms, sucks and as a result he relaxes.
Now, although it is not as he has imagined, it is likely that he has added to the taste of breast milk, in the case of a candy, something that gives it sweetness.
