I liked the initiative of IneveryCrea to perform in the classroom and related to the next premiere of the movie Zipi and Zape and the marble club. The other day I read that professions of the future will have to do with art and technology So this project that seeks to incorporate cinematographic narrative as a classroom tool seems to me to be the most successful.
The proposal is oriented to teachers and elementary students (from 6 to 10 years old) and is organized jointly between Inevery Crea, Canal +, Canal Junior and Buena Vista, with the collaboration of Atlantic Devices. An educational preview will be carried out under the motto Playing you also learn on September 29 at the Palafox cinema in Madrid.
From IneveryCrea they consider that cinema is an inexhaustible source of resources to work in the classroom, which allows to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and learning of different basic skills and that contributes to the transmission of values.
Between the objectives which are intended to achieve with this initiative are:
- Promote the value of teamwork
- Promote cinema as an interdisciplinary method for teaching different skills
- Promote the use of ICT as a means of generating educational content
- Educate in critical and thoughtful attitudes of opinion
In a first phase The preview of the film will be attended in Madrid on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 11:00. Among the requests received will be selected three educational centers that may participate with a maximum of two classrooms each one of them. A total of 150 students are intended to participate. After the screening of the film, an educational workshop will be held for attendees.
In the second stage, each educational center will commit to work, during the weeks following the screening of the film, activities such as being a film critic, drawing the most representative movie scene, creating a book that collects all the scenes, generating a short video proposing a new story or a different ending, create videoconferences for students in schools to interview movie makers such as the director, actors, etc.
Of course, all the resources created by the centers will be published on the Inevery Crea platform. In the link below you can obtain more information and participate in the initiative that I hope will be consolidated as usual and that values cinema with children's education.
