The imagination of a baby

We have talked a lot about the imagination of the little ones, that engine that makes them grow and face this world day by day with a smile and a huge smile. That is why when I saw the following video I decided to bring it, because it is what we understand to be those years in which we lived with other types of worries, the years in which we were able to build an entire universe from a simple stick with the only help of our best weapon, The imagination of a baby.

Imaginary friends

The greatest "physical" projection of a child's imagination, and maybe not so baby, they are imaginary friends.

These children, sometimes, other times Martians, animals or anything that can humanize and serve as a faithful companion of our children's games. Many times feared by parents and our tendency to exaggerate everything. But they are nothing more than projections of the deepest desires of a mind in continuous boiling. In fact, its appearance is more common in single children or with siblings with marked age differences.

Gradually "that friend" will disappear and finally leaving the dining room chair and the plate free.

Simple objects

Nothing better to free a child's imagination than to give Something without a certain use. A stick, a saucepan, a bottle of water are not in principle a toy, at least not for our old eyes, but under the special vision of a child each of the everyday objects that surround them acquire thousands of possibilities. How many times has it happened to us that they play more with the toy wrapper than with the toy itself? How many stones end up in your pockets on the way back home?

The painting

Another wonderful exit to the imaginative genius of your offspring. In fact it is a great tool for child psychologists because it provides them with valuable information on what can happen to the child and in the same way we We can see what the world is like from his eyes, through his strokes.

How do we see them?

It is clear that who else or who least does not see the world as he saw in his childhood, are too many experiences, too many obligations, rules, rules. We have turned the world we had into something rigid in which we imprisoned the child we were. But there are still small pieces of this, fine threads that link the adult with the child he was. We have books, movies, theaters. All this transports us to another world, a world very different from ours, a world where the rules are marked by our imagination, that is, that child we strive to leave locked up daily.

How do we see them when they play? Are we able to follow their world? Can we overcome our sense of ridicule?

There are many adults who have tried to recreate the imaginary world of the little ones, perhaps one of the most
great in my opinion has been Bill Watterson with his Calvin & Hobbes comics. Others, like Patrick Boivin have created virals with great success with their versions of children's imagination.

Is that how we imagined the games? I have few memories of that age, but I know that imagination was not missing. What do you think your babies think when playing? What would be their dialogues if they could talk, and if it were intelligible?

Those of TheFineBros, experts in recording people's reactions when watching certain videos, recorded the reactions of other children to the previous video and here is a selection that has no waste. Do you want to know how other children see the video?

In case you are interested in knowing the "how it was made", here you have the video, although if you want to continue feeling the magic of the cinema, please do not watch it.

I do not know yours, but considering how mine play with their stuffed animals, I believe the video. And you? How is the imagination of your babies?
