The Kikolas present us their show for kids called Sin sende

The street and circus theater company The Kikolas they are from tour the villages from the Sierra de Madrid. Last Sunday we had the opportunity to see them in the town of Navacerrada in a show that began with the delivery of drawing and poetry prizes to the students of the local public school. By the way, all the prizes, for children and primary, were won by girls. The Kikolas are Quique Méndez (who can be seen in most of the images) and Kike Sebastián who have training in different circus and staging techniques and who presented the show No return, created by Quique, in which acrobatics, magic, music and everything are combined with a film wrapper of slapstick comedy and touches of French comedian Jacques Tati. Is a silent show of circus theater More than an hour long, adaptable both to the living room and the street, with a devilish rhythm and great numbers in which the children remained very attentive.

The Kikolas are common in activities with different groups such as Clowns Without Borders, and also participate in galas, visits to hospitals and even two expeditions to Lebanon. The most surprising thing is the ability of Quique to fill almost the entire square of very fun artifacts with many possibilities and with a show with a great script that works throughout the show. In the images below you can see many of the moments of the No Return which also includes magic numbers made brilliantly.

Here you can see Quique arriving on stage after crossing among the audience, mostly children:

Juggling tennis rackets while a public assistant helps him and Quique is on a wheelbarrow making balances:

Another of the very exciting moments of the show is that the friendly postman, who speaks very basic French and understandable to the kids, has to send a letter by airmail. I liked how the giant balloon number was used, in which the author literally gets inside and serves as a step to the final moment of the letter with final surprise included:

Here the bicycle that Quique uses as a deliveryman and in which you can see how the asymmetry of the wheels with the axles generates a pendular movement to the bicycle making those moments very fun and comical:

And here you can see The Kikolas in a fragment of No return I found on YouTube:

I congratulate to The Kikolas because they made me have a very nice time, I was always waiting for the next thing with what Quique was going to surprise us, and because the kids were very attentive to the possibilities of the show with juggling, surprising objects, the collaboration of the public, magic and taking advantage of the great stage that gives a lot of play to have fun and entertain.
