'El Cuaderno del Lobo' is now available for tablets, with content aimed at any age

The Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Foundation (FFRF) He has adapted the first number of one of Felix's most emblematic works, the “Field Notebooks” to the digital format, in order to update its content and make it more accessible for new generations, offering it in both Spanish and English.

Surely children who enjoy observing and studying animal life are delighted with this initiative. Also, the notebook (about the wolf) It is the first of the 50 that Feliz directed on emblematic species (lynx, imperial eagle, etc.), which is in digital format, although the Foundation intends to adapt them all. It has been transformed to iPad and Android tablets, in collaboration with the Render Area production company, the volume that Felix dedicated to the wolf, creating the iFelix application.

The proposal seems fascinating because the wolf is one of my favorite animals, I also think that we all have to advance in the knowledge of this species as beautiful as hated.

There is the circumstance that the illustrator of this new edition of the Field Notebooks, Fernando Ferreiro, sent some of his drawings to Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente himself who, impressed by his quality, congratulated him by saying 'Amazing. I see you drawing pictures for field notebooks'

The application Contains complete and updated information on the life of the wolf, presenting it interactively through new field drawings, 3D animations, photographs, audio clips and dynamic maps. It recovers the texts and the original style, although it also includes the most recent data on the species.

In addition, it has a series of practical tools, which allow the user to geolocate their own wildlife sightings during their field trips, with exclusive content for children to improve their skills as nature artists. It can be purchased at the App Store and Google Play stores. More information at ifelixapp.

Odile Rodríguez de la Fuente (director of the Foundation) explains that iFelix is the Foundation's latest commitment to keep Felix's work alive. 'This project would have excited my father for his interactivity and his didactic potential. Also for the care he shows in every detail, and because it is designed for people of all ages to learn in an entertaining way, just as he was looking for with his documentaries'.
